| Ronald M. Burd is Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Neuroscience, University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Primarily his current work is with MeritCare Health Systems in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Burd is a native of Montana. He received his undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He earned his M.D. degree at the University of Utah and did his residency in General Psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Burd’s current clinical practice sites are primarily Partial Hospital and Outpatient. Because of this, the focus of his work is on suicide assessment and prevention, combined treatment modalities for depression and Axis II disorders. Dr. Burd is particularly interested in clinical quality improvement; including the creation and use of algorithms, complementary medicine, application of technology and creativity. | |
