Claudia Carcoana is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and psychiatrist at the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic/Consultation Service at the Fargo Veterans Administration Medical and Regional Office Center. A native of Romania, Europe, Dr. Carcoana attended Bucharest College of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Fargo, North Dakota. With the Fargo VA since 1997, she is involved in teaching residents and students, Compensation evaluations (combat PTSD), inpatient/outpatient coverage, and consult service. Dr. Carcoana is a member of the APA and is Board certified in psychiatry.
