| Bret C. Haake is Clinical Professor and Head, Division of Neurology, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Executive Partner of Neuroscience Services at MeritCare Medical Group in Fargo, North Dakota. He is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate, M.D., and residency training. Likewise, he continued on at the University of Minnesota as an assistant professor where he was head of the neuroscience clinic and headed the Stroke Program. He joined MeritCare Health System in January of 1995. Since then he has taken on leadership roles in the Neuroscience Aggregate with MeritCare and the Neurology Department at the medical school. His major areas of clinical interest include stroke and neurodegenerative conditions. He is actively performing clinical research and developing programs in stroke, Parkinson's disease and dementia. | |
