  • Define the basic functions of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Identify the various types of interactions between physicians and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Describe AMA, FDA, ACCME guidelines regarding physician-industry contacts
  • Discuss an ethical framework in which to evaluate physician interactions with industry
